Connect with oneself

The best thing about #21daylockdown has been a chance to connect with one’s older self. There are things in your cupboard which haven’t got a chance to be looked at for years, in some cases even decades. In usual fast pace life, there is hardly time to ponder over such minute things. Now work pace is slow despite our field not being completely down and out unlike many other sectors. In current scenario, the days are long. Movie and books can occupy you to a certain extent.

Three things which i have found worthy of sharing:

(a) There is a HUGE difference being busy and being productive. Many of the daily routine work related issues are getting resolved much easily and quickly.

(b) Catching up with school and college friends over phone has been a blessing at this time. Often during busy days, we feel reaching out to them is a task in itself. Everyone is so busy in their daily routine, one feel not disturbing them.

© The expectations from oneself has been lowered. Self-esteem is boosted by doing calculated things with right measures. Decluttering work, setting small targets and achieving them seems more rewarding.

I hope we can do a complete lock down once a year, probably for a week without any reason. Its fantastic, heart warming and a perfect reason to connect with oneself.
